Our Commitments
Lore Group Sustainability Mission Statement
Sustainability isn’t just your actions, it’s your attitude — and, for us, it’s an ongoing, transparent, measurable process of thinking responsibly and behaving ethically. We aim for the kind of commitment to positive social and environmental impact that cultivates a deeper connection with community, reduces our impact on natural resources and Co2e emissions and ensures all our efforts are supported by auditable data.
We are delighted to share Lore Groups first ESG report which conveys our metrics and initiatives beyond traditional disclosures across our hotels, including innovations in our back-of-house operations, and why our care goes beyond mere compliance.

The property underwent a full audit in 2023 with De Groene Grachten (Green Canals) to identify carbon-saving projects through energy efficiencies, and in 2025 all carbon data was third-party assured by Carbon Plus, enabling a decarbonisation pathway for the property aligned with SBTi principles. A member of The Green Hotel Club Foundation (GHC), and OpenUp, the hotel supports a culture of well-being and fuels work performance by empowering the team with personalized support for their emotional, social, and physical well-being.
